Inspiring Leadership
Dr. Paul Kellogg
Addyson Allaire is an old soul spiritual leader in a 8 year old physical body. She is inspired to sit with her mom during group meetings and has even begun to develop her own techniques!
In a recent gathering she shared her top go to method for breaking the energy of a meeting. You can try it right now!
Place your two hands over your heart. Take a deep breath. Now dynamically, move your hands and arms out the side of you of your body. As you do that, at the same time, breath out, and with great joy and gusto, say “HOORAY!” Try it again! Feels great, right!!!???
You can do this many times at once until there is no doubt that H00RAY is your mantra for the day or just like your cleansing routine, make it a lifestyle.
When I think of leadership, the pure joy of giving, sharing, showing the way is at the top of my thoughts. True leadership begins at the heart. It is a feeling of worth and value in who I am and what I have experienced. It is our inner “Addyson!” Our childlike nature and the desire to express that!
It has been shared in many ways that the leader is the inspiration and the emerging leader is the solution. 0ne of my early wayshowers had the spiritual life purpose of Inspiring 0thers To Do What They Came To Do.
She inspired me to do my first radio show and give my first lecture at 19 in Anderson, IN. Two senior ladies came, paid their $1.50 and listened to my one-hour lecture which lasted all of 15 minutes! Chagrined as I saw my watch, I asked if they had any questions! Of course, they did and one hour later we were done.
They got up, said that I did a great job, thanked me and wished me success in my work. I never saw them again and have never forgotten them. I had done it and felt like a million dollars!
There are blossoming leaders all around us that are just looking for a guiding light to help them rise to the occasion. They just need some inspiration to go for it or an opportunity to give it a try. They will have the enthusiasm of Addyson and unique experience to share.
They may not be one to follow in my exact footsteps with my specific programs. But they may be the next great spiritual leader presenting their own creativity. This may return back to me and what I do.
Who are those emerging leaders in your life? Who are the ones that keep wanting to connect with you? Who needs an opportunity to share? What are the best tools and direction you can share that may give them the inspiration to just do it?
There is no greater feeling than to be a part of someone else’s success; to see that person learn and grow in their own leadership and even pass me by in their abilities to lead and inspire others!
And so I say (with pointy ears and hand help up with fingers splayed) “Live long and Inspire!”
